The Feedstock

Where most blast media starts with virgin polymer, ours starts in the scrap bin.

Across the United States, manufacturers of dinnerware, eyeglass lenses, decorative laminates, electrical components, signage, and automotive lighting generate enormous volumes of thermoset polymer waste — trimmings, off-cuts, gating, runners, and out-of-spec parts that can't be remelted because thermosets, by chemistry, never go back to liquid.

Conventional plastic recycling streams can't handle thermosets. Most of this material historically went to landfill.

AeroBlast was founded on a different premise: thermoset waste is the ideal feedstock for engineered blast media. The polymer's hardness, friability, and chemical stability are exactly what blast media needs. So we take what would have been buried, granulate it, classify it by particle size and shape, qualify it against MIL-DTL-85891C, and ship it as precision cleaning media.

The result is four distinct grades — each sourced from a different upstream industry, each engineered for a different cleaning application — all built from 100% post-industrial recycled content. No virgin polymer enters the line.
